North Tema Cooperative Credit Union (NTCCU) was established in 1982 under the Ghana Cooperative Credit Union Association (CUA).

NTCCU is owned and operated by members. Each member therefore has the right to vote and elect members who form the board and other committees.

Any economically active individual or company, including micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), public and civil servants, employees of the private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) residing and working within the Tema Metropolis.
