A MONTH OF IMPACT, IDENTITY & INCLUSION

October 2025 was no ordinary month at NTCCU it was a full-blown celebration of our members, their health, their heritage, and their financial future. Member Service Week brought together vibrant activities that blended professionalism, culture, and care in unforgettable ways.

PROFESSIONAL DAY: DRESS YOUR DREAM

We kicked off with Professional Day, where staff and members dressed in attire representing various professions from doctors and engineers to teachers and entrepreneurs. It was a visual reminder that NTCCU supports every career path and every dream.

FREE BREAST SCREENING: HEALTH IS WEALTH

In partnership with health professionals, NTCCU offered free breast cancer screening to all members. The turnout was overwhelming, with members showing up in their numbers to prioritize their health. This initiative reaffirmed our commitment to holistic member wellbeing.

REP YOUR JERSEY: PASSION MEETS PRIDE

Next came Rep Your Jersey Day, where members and staff wore jerseys of their favorite football clubs. The banking hall was a sea of colors and chants, celebrating unity through sport and shared passion.

TRADITIONAL WEAR & LOCAL BAR: CULTURE IN EVERY SIP

One of the week’s most beloved highlights was Traditional Wear Day, paired with a local bar experience right in our banking hall. Members arrived in stunning African attire and were treated to refreshing local drinks like Asana, Sobolo, and Lamugi. It was a beautiful fusion of heritage and hospitality.

YOUTH SAVINGS AWARDS: CELEBRATING TOMORROW’S LEADERS

We ended the week by honoring young savers. NTCCU awarded the student with the highest savings from our youth account holders. The award went to a proud student of CHEMU SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, where we also held a financial literacy session to empower students with smart money habits.

WHY IT MATTERS

Member Service Week wasn’t just about celebration it was about connection. From health to heritage, football to finance, NTCCU reaffirmed its role as a community-first credit union that listens, engages, and empowers.
